Great place to go with your family and friends. The museum had a well-preserved rich cultural history of India. The gardens are well maintained. Please don’t throw trash anywhere other than the dustbin keep the place clean.

The Victoria Memorial contains a museum that houses the art and artifacts not only from the Victorian era but also contains Indian history….. It also has a Collection of oil and Watercolor paintings by various artists and the paintings are detailed works by the artist… After the Indian independence, portraits, and relics relating to Indian independence found a place in the museum. The time when I visited Victoria there was an exhibition happened of photography and I would like to share that It was just a great experience… That was a beautiful evening I spend there.
Great place to visit in Kolkata. Museum is closed for now but you could give a tour around it. Beautiful architectural with unique style. Nice surroundings with green lawn and lake. Good lighting during evening time made the structure more beautiful. Good for bird watching and there are lots of squirrels in garden. Good for hangout with family and friends.
