  • First, you have to reach Namkhana which is around 100km from Kolkata. you can avail the bus or train to reach Namkhana. The train journey time between Kolkata and Namkhana is around 3hr.
  • Then from Namkhana, you have to cross the Hatania Doania river by boat. it takes around 10-15min.
  • After crossing the river, you have to reach bagdanga kheya ghat by Magic van or Toto. it takes approximately 30 min to travel.
  • Then from Bagdanga kheya ghat, you have to reach Bagdanga and then Baliara. it takes approximately 40 min to travel.

If you want to reach Mousuni Island by bike then you can start a small trip to Mousuni Island. To reach here you Must take Diamond harbor road and detour towards Namkhana ferry ghat.

    No. you will not be able to reach Mousuni in your own car. Since you have to cross the Hatania Doania river by boat, you have to leave your car at Hujjuta Ghat.

  5. Is a couple allowed on Mousuni Island?

    Yes, Married and Unmarried couples are allowed on Mousuni Island. There are both Tent and Cottage facilities available to stay the night for the couple.
